Margerum “D” is an exploration in what can be achieved with barrel fermentation of high quality Sauvignon Blanc. The winemaking style gives the wine a mineral quality, a textured palate, and an ability to age for ten to twenty years and improve.
Kärmíne is a blend nine barrels of co-fermented Estate hillside Grenache & Mourvèdre blended with Estate Syrah and Counoise.
This lovely wine is from our estate grown, organically farmed, Cinsault and is blended with a bit of a co-ferment of estate Syrah from clone 7 and clone 470. This is our third vintage from the estate, and it has produced the finest Cinsault we have made in our nineteen-year history. We recommend serving this wine cool.
