Doug Margerum has been intimately involved in the food and wine scene in Santa Barbara for over 30 years. Doug founded the Wine Spectator Grand Award winning Wine Cask restaurant, he launched the nationally recognized Santa Barbara Wine Futures Program, has consulted for numerous wineries and has imported some of the most sought after wines in the United States. Doug has had his hands in many aspects of the wine business and in 2001 started Margerum Wine Company. The culmination of many years as a sommelier and developing a worldly palate has given him the ability to know and make world-class wines.
