This is a vineyard designate, single clone (96) selection from the prestigious Hilliard Bruce Vineyard. Hand picked, sorted and fermented in neutral French oak barriques in a cold environment, which helps to slow down the fermentation process and preserve fruit characteristics. Full malolactic fermentation and battonage was performed during a 10-month aging period on full lees.
The wine shows classic chardonnay complexity with vibrancy, clean lines and texture t0 create a long salivating finish. Aromas of white flowers and lemon curd overlay an essence of caramel and green apple. The combination of richness and verve give this wine a great relevancy from warm spring days through the winter.
