This is a private tasting of some of our favorite wines held upstairs in the Mezzanine at our Santa Barbara Tasting Room and hosted by one of our Certified Wine Professionals. This experience includes an in-depth discussion about all things vinous including viticulture, winemaking, terroir, our Estate Vineyard and the various appellations from which we source fruit. This experience will be complimented by a curated selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accoutrements. $100/person.
How do wines age? Because Doug Margerum is celebrating his 21st harvest, we have an incredible library of mature wines that have been aging gracefully in perfect conditions. You will enjoy a seated tasting of eight wines from the Margerum Wine Company and Barden library. Compare and contrast two Pinot Noirs, two Chardonnays, two Syrahs, plus a few bonus wines, with vintage being the only difference between each of the wines. This experience will be complemented by a curated selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accoutrements.ts. $150/person.
Ever wonder how the perfect wine blend is made? Let one of our Certified Wine Professionals guide you through the key components that make up our extraordinary M5 Red Rhône blend. This is a hands-on experience and tasting of five different red varietals that includes wide-ranging conversations about winemaking, the art of blending and viticulture. This experience will include a curated selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accouterments. $175/person.
