Private Seated Deep Dive Tasting of Margerum and Barden Wines

This is a private tasting of some of our favorite wines held upstairs in the Mezzanine at our Santa Barbara Tasting Room and hosted by one of our Certified Wine Professionals. This experience includes an in-depth discussion about all things vinous including viticulture, winemaking, terroir, our Estate Vineyard and the various appellations from which we source fruit. This experience will be complimented by a curated selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accoutrements.  $75/person.

Private Food & Wine Pairing with Margerum and Barden Wines

The marriage of food and wine has been celebrated for centuries. Join one of our Certified Wine Professionals for a very articulate and detailed wine experience surrounding the art of matching food and wine. Using wines from Margerum Wine Company and Barden, we will taste through some of our favorite wines, paired with specific bites created by our Executive Chef. Discussions will be wide-ranging and will certainly cover all things vinous, including viticulture and winemaking, but importantly also how wines impact food and vice-versa. $100/person.

Syrah Flight

Over twenty years ago, Doujg Margerum started Margerum Wine Company with the goal of producing some of the finest Syrah-based wines in Santa Barbara County.  Our refrigerated-sunlight climate has consistently proven to be one of the best places in Claifornia to successfully grow and make both Cold-Climate and Cool-Climate Syrahs.  Join us for a special and informative tasting of our various Syrahs highlighting both current and library wines.  $50/person

Private M5 Blending Seminar Tasting

Ever wonder how wine is blended together to make the perfect wines?  Or how the five different grapes for our M5 Red and M5 White are blended together to make one distinct and delicious wine?  Led by one of our team’s knowledgeable Sommeliers, this is an interactive experience where we actually take the various components from our M5 Wines and blend them together to make the finished wine.  Discussions will be wide-ranging and will cover all things vinous including viticulture, winemaking, our Estate Vineyard and the various appellations from which we source.  $150/person.
