These grapes are grown from a small block (less than 1 acre) at our Estate Vineyard in the Los Olivos District. The word Picpoul means “lip stinger” and it is one of the oldest grape varieties from the Languedoc Roussillon appellation of France.  The majority of the Picpoul Blanc that we produce is a crucial component of our Estate M5 White Rhône style blend providing excellent acidity and freshness to the finished wine.  185 cases made.

This is almost completely dry with just a touch of sweetness.  Perfect with Sushi, Thai and Vietnamese food.  More than half of this fruit came from the great Riesling Site at Kick-On Ranch.

Steely with hints of straw and golden hues.White peach pear flower blossoms with hints of honey, melon, apple pie and vanilla. While full, round and opulent there is a balanced acidity poised and tenacious tomasquerade and equate as richness that will continue to evolve with time in bottle. The wine is just basically lovely, delicious and special. 100% Viognier - to be sold exclusively in our tasting rooms and online.

This is a first-time bottling from our Estate Vineyard and is a direct result of how compelling a Marsanne dominant wine is. When combined with two other exotic white varietals like  Roussanne and Viognier, there is a potent combination matching the rich, vibrant textures of these grapes with aromatic delight. 

Strong aromas of red cherry and strawberry with a crisp finish. Medium acidity and low tannins make for a smooth, yet complex flavor.

The Margerum Tasting Room is located on Mason Street across from the Hotel Californian and we thought this would be a fitting name for a Wine Club exclusive wine.  This is only our 3rd release and this year it is 100% Syrah made from top cool-climate vineyards in Santa Barbara County. Selected barrels from our cold cellar were chosen for their bold yet approachable character. The wine is aged in French oak to produce a rich, complex wine.  This wine pairs well with big full-flavored foods like grilled meats, hearty stews, BBQ and richer fattier fish like tuna and salmon.

The Margerum Tasting Room is located at the corner of Helena Avenue and Mason Street, across from the Hotel Californian and we thought this would be a fitting name for this Wine Club exclusive bottling.  This is a blend of 40% Syrah and 60% Grenache inspired by the always fascinating Côtes du Rhônes from the south of France.  Fruit is sourced from several top Santa Barbara County vineyards from growers and vineyards we know.
